The Copper Tongue Scraper is a traditional Ayurvedic Dinacharya (daily self-care) tool crafted from pure copper. Tongue scraping (Jivha Prakshalana) is one of the foundational practices described in classical Ayurvedic texts including the Ashtanga Hridayam, traditionally performed each morning to remove overnight accumulation of Ama (toxins) from the tongue surface, support oral hygiene, and stimulate the digestive system.
Why Copper
Copper is described in Ayurveda as having natural antibacterial and purifying properties, making it the traditional material of choice for tongue scrapers and oral care tools in Ayurvedic practice.
How to Use
Each morning before brushing teeth, hold both ends of the scraper and gently draw it from the back of the tongue to the front in 7–14 strokes. Rinse the scraper with water between strokes. Rinse mouth with water after use. Clean the scraper with warm water and lemon juice to maintain its natural copper finish.
For personal hygiene use. Not a medical device.
